Hi, Im Shaurya.
Thanks for dropping in.

About Me

Hi I'm Shaurya Dubey. I'm a front-end developer with a passion for clean code, constant learning, efficient solutions, and craft beer. Right now I'm really into Vanilla JavaScript, React, and SalesForce Development (I'm a little obsessed with Lightning Web Components), and other Frontend Technologies. Currently I spend most of my time going down JavaScript related rabbit holes, working on fun personal projects, and searching Toronto for the finest barrel aged stouts I can find. Feel free to reach out with any opportunities, project ideas, or even if you just wanna talk about beer a bit. Welcome to my portfolio.

Stuff I made

  • Image of the smartypaints app
    smartyPaints

A basic little art quiz that tests your knowledge on all things art ranging from Picasso to Murakami, and provides you with your score on completion. This app uses jQuery to interact with and manipulate the DOM for it's functionality. I thoroughly enjoyed making this as it allowed me to express my passion for art.

    brewBud

brewBud (Yes, Camel Cased) was created to help my friends and I locate, and visit breweries when we are in the U.S.A. This app uses multiple APIs, Anonymous Authentication, and Live Databases to help you find American breweries, add them to a list, and generate a road trip, setting your selected breweries as waypoints along an optimized route. Please have a designated driver, drinking and driving is not cool.

A responsive webpage created using HTML and CSS. Like all other projects, this one also uses wrappers to ensure the page is viewable on large, small, and mobile view-widths.

    Gif In Touch

An App that allows you to search for gifs that relate to your mood, and then add them to an expanding timeline along with the date to chronicle your mood over time. Made in collaboration with my awesome cohort mates QiQi, Acaccia, and Michael, Gif in touch uses React, Firebase and rest APIs to create the coolest mood journal you've seen
